The fifth AFINNET school graduation took place on January 16, 2009.

 

57 young women graduated from the sewing and tailoring program. Each received a sewing machine so they could start to earn a living with their new skills. Four young men graduated from the carpentry program; each received a tool box of carpentry tools.

 

The Residential District Commissioner of Mityana District was the guest of honor. The Bishop of Mityana, Dr. Samuel Kazimba, also attended.
