Our youth programs promote the development of a confident youth voice in civic dialog, leadership and decision making.
Our goals include:
- recognizing youth as resources
- creating youth-adult partnership
- supporting youth-initiated projects
- training youth to be effective leaders
- creating employment opportunities for youth
AFINNET created a new Y
outh Carpentry Program in 2007 based at the AFINNET Empowerment Centre. Over 50 young men have graduated from the program.
